PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: His emotions are very muted, as he only has a small fragment of a heart. He also has a shard of someone else's heart buried in him, but it's tamped down and only a mild influence.
MAGICAL INFORMATION: He is a human shaped void in the fabric of reality, maintaining his impossible existence through sheer force of will. Also, he has a strong affinity for ice magic, and is a very powerful mage in general.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: Well, aside from not existing and bleeding a mixture of darkness and cold instead of blood, he's immune to hypothermia but overheats very easily, is gaunt and somewhat undernourished, and is frequently sleep deprived. He also has severe burn scars covering his entire torso, extending to his upper thighs and upper arms, with a thinner but no less severe band of burn scars just above the wrists and knees. The scars are all the same age, and look like they should have been fatal.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: He has a phobia of open flame, and being burned sets off traumatic flashbacks. Aside from that, he despises people who disregard scientific ethics.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

VISUAL: Tall, 6'5", and skinny to the point of looking mildly emaciated. This is a man who clearly makes a habit of skipping meals. Long blond hair with a weird 'bangs over tucked bangs' style, unnaturally yellow eyes, and pointy elf ears.
AURAL: His voice is on the high side, described as 'slightly shrill', and he tends to get Loud whenever he's worked up.
OLFACTORY: Smells like cold air, chemicals, and coffee, pervaded by a strange scent that those familiar with it will recognize as the stench of darkness.
DEMEANOUR: High strung, lots of nervous energy, always moving. He's prone to grand gestures, often moving his arms as he talks, and his facial expressions are just shy of exaggerated.

Heart Info: Thanatos is born of Nyx, Night Incarnate. Darkness is her power. Thanatos is fatherless, so he's essentially darkness in make up. However, there are bits of light, like stars in a night sky. He is Death Incarnate but also the God of Gentle Death. He takes pride in guiding and being the bearer of good news to those who died. Feeling emotions, being more alive are things he is still something he's getting used to. It's like a fluttering flame, a candle left in an open window as night falls. It's able to grow brighter but still fragile, prone to blowing different directions from the wind.
Other: If death, divinity, or age are things he can pick up, then go ahead. Thanatos is at least 100+ years old.

Heart Info: Well, he's got a Persona. Technically that's a mind thing but it'd probably fall under 'heart' by KH standards. That said... there's a lot of darkness and despair in Ken's heart, at least initially. There's very little will to live and a feeling of hopeless loss. There's a little flicker of brightness there of hope and determination, but at least initially the balance is tipped pretty badly. When he evens out again there'll be more light, but it'll take time.
Other: idk he probably might have some strong residual Weird, the Potential might feel strange due to it and the Dark Hour's connection to Nyx.

Heart Info: His soul is bound in a contract with his Yurine (who's on the train). In terms of more... Kingdom Hearts-type answers... for someone so steeped in death (nearly two of his own, caused a lot of death himself) he's surprisingly light. Ther'es a whole Light Is Not Good/Dark Is Not Evil visual motif going on with him and the antagonist, so he's probably got a surprising amount of light. When he can think for himself he's got a pretty good nature. ... He'd just laugh if you told him he was very Light, though.
Other: His soul isn't in his body, it's in his amulet. I don't know if that's something Vexen can pick up on. When he's in his armored form his body is separate from it... the armor might read like... I don't know, Lingering Will, maybe?

Basically in Kingdom Hearts terms his heart is very shiny bright! Like... unnaturally shiny bright. He is tied to his king (Gyousou) as well so he might be able to sense that?

Character Name: Najaran, Goligan, and her cards. (This is going to be the complex one, since Xion is already understood. And. Um. Sorry.)
Heart Info: SO! Najaran is what is called a Cepter. She can use Cards that are part of the Book of Creation (how her multiverse was created by the Goddess Culdra). Najaran specifically has a strong bond with a number of her Cards, and her Cards come to her hand when summoned if they are near enough. So while they're not "stored" in hammerspace the way the Keyblades or the Org weapons are, they are still connected to her. (There is a whole thing in canon about the connection between Cepters and their cards and their dreams, but it is hard to tease out what is superstition/beliefs from what is true.) There is a thing in canon that does show that Cards of strong Cepters can react while in Card form, when another strong Cepter they are fated to fight are near. So there is something that they can sense and react to, though details are... unclear. So yeah. Najaran has an attachment to her cards via her heart. And in traditional anime style that of course when her power was out of her reach and she was about to be beaten someone insulted the previous owners of her cards and of COURSE that snapped her powers to hand and let her soundly trounce them all, because of her connection to the Cards and to those she got theme from....
For the Cards themselves. They... are connected to Najaran. Some are creatures with hearts and personalities and selves. Some are not. So different cards will read differently. As a heads up, I still do not know if the manga (she is from the manga, not the games) sees Decoy as a living creature or not.
Goligan. Um. Yeah. So. Goligan is a living staff with a head at the top where a hand grip on a walking stick usually is. His heart is.... complicated. He was created to be a thing of evil, got amnesia, and woke up with good people and so is... good. Very much nature vs nurture there. And also, though no one in canon realizes it, a sharp example of just how good Najaran and her Master are, though on the surface they don't always seem to be. They turned a fundamentally evil creature created to be evil to good simply by presuming he was as good as they were and treating him as such. So while he acts good and thinks he is good, his heart is... mixed.


Other: Do you want the stats for her living cards? (the ones I have stats for, anyway?) But basically the Cards should read as powerful and alive in Card form and creature form, the spells and item cards less so. All the Cards read as divine magic if he learns to differentiate that, as they were created by the actual Goddess of their multiverse.

ALSO, big note: CANONICALLY there is a character who can "read" all that is written of creation by looking at it. Any person, any card, any item. EXCEPT... she mis reads Najaran and things Najaran touches and handles. She blames it on Goligan being not of their world, but she didn't have any issues reading Goligan. Just Najaran. She says that on a closer look, Najaran is much harder to read. As a seer who can see EVERYTHING, NAjaran surprised her when she accidentally made the tea very worng, because something about Najaran deviates from the path of her fate. So feel free to have him misread things about Najaran from time to time.... >.>

Heart Info: His read on her 'heart' should be faint, given she's used to having to shield AND be in control of her emotions. Raven herself hasn't realized it yet, given her canon point, but she's actually the most HOPEFUL person Robin has ever met--she's lived her whole life with a prophecy that she would do evil, but she's done her best to try and do good instead. She IS half-demon, and uses darkness based powers however. I'm not sure how all of that would reflect in her heart.
Other: Raven is rarely seen without her cloak, although sometimes she has the hood down.

Heart Info: There was a point in his life where Kaiba's heart was completely black. He was entirely alone, driven by vengeance, greed, and desperation. A certain pharaoh once shattered his heart to force him to build it anew, and hopefully emerge as a better person. He still has a lot of darkness...but the light's pierced through.
Other: He's a completely ordinary human through and through. Irritable, except when he has his coffee or he's playing with his small apple friend.

Heart Info: As she's explained, Mami is a lich. Her soul exists inside her little yellow gem, and it's that that keeps her body alive. Light/darkness wise, she's primarily light aligned, though not completely pure.
Other: Her magic is largely of a healing and connecting nature.

Heart Info: Ryo is a genuinely compassionate person who truly loves and cares for other people - a healer in personality as well as practice - and his heart is mostly aligned. That said, he's also got a tragic backstory and a history of familial abuse and neglect, which has given him a bit of darkness in the form of a thin but concentrated vengeful streak. It's a bit like finding a knife in a pillow.
Other: Ryo has healing magic and wind magic and comes by both naturally.

Character Name: Siebren de Kuiper (Sigma)
Heart Info: Siebren is mostly light-aligned, but his life and mental health are a total wreck and that likely reflects in his heart. It doesn't help that he's being manipulated by a terrorist organization and in a bit of denial as to just how much damage he's caused at their behest. He is, at his core, a good person, but also extremely out of balance at the moment.
Other: Siebren got ripped apart and reassembled by a black hole - it's what gave him his gravity powers and also put an unceasing melody in his head. Nobody really knows how or why these things work, but they sure are a thing!

Character Name: V (Vincent)
Heart Info: At the heart of it all (haha) he's a good guy with a light heart, but there are deep shadows and very dark places. He's a man that's got a lot of blood on his hands just to survive and he's okay with that. Coupled with this is a sort of shrouding of his heart because he's distanced himself from it as much as he possibly could.
Other: He has a tendency not to talk about himself too deeply and will change the direction of the conversation if someone starts probing too deeply. He's non-magical in nature but do keep in mind he has metal bits in his face/font of his throat/forearms/hands as well as two chip slots and a port behind his right ear. I have images on his journal.

Heart Info: I'd say Rich has a heart with like, at least a center of light. He very much wants to be a good person, it's just that he was forced into doing bad things. He wasn't completely in control of himself during those times, so it's unclear if that would affect the amount of darkness in his heart. I'm willing to discuss this further if you need more detail!
Other: Vexen might be able to pick up that Rich has something in his brain. It's dormant and deactivated (right now), but it was a supercomputer that Vexen's magic may or may not be able to sense.

Heart Info: Nita's heart is very much on the side of light - though there may be a darker speck or two in there, depending on how 'darkness' is measured. She is also connected to the 'soul' of wizardry, the peridexis, so that would likely show up too!
Other: If Nita's running a spell, there'll be more to pick up; otherwise she's just plain human, and that should show through as well.

Character Name: Alfredo Martini (hisblueskies)
Heart Info: While initially driven by plans of revenge, his heart is very much on the Light side. Blame Romeo. And Bianca.
Other: Alfredo's dead as per his canon point, but that doesn't show through all that much (probably thanks to his SCA). Up to you if you want Vexen to find out about/analyze that!

Heart Info: Presumably has a KH-style Heart, by the way Songs reckons things, but I'd be fine with Vexen not being able to pick up on that at first glance or something - if we do have it show up, it's very much dark, but with a growing speck of Light as they are coming to find joy in life and helping people again (without strings attached).
Other: Nothing in particular for V! Or M-Bot, their droid companion.

Heart Info: Devero is a bog-standard non-magical human, so there probably isn't anything special going on with his heart. In terms of light vs. dark, he's a really good guy-- he's deeply compassionate, patient and kind, driven by a profound need to understand and help other people. However, he's been a victim of really profound abuse, so there are boatloads of anger and fear seething around impotently inside him that he's learned to direct at himself rather than let it turn outward.

Other: You're welcome to have Vexen be able to detect that Dev is an augmented human. He's got a network of little nodes implanted all over his body that are constantly transmitting data. On the train, that data pretty much goes exclusively to his Interface, which is an electronic device that he wears pretty much constantly.

Character Name: Yondu Udonta
Heart Info: Yondu has a very absent-minded approach to death because he was taught to kill at such a young age. He can kill people pretty easily as an adult (he was able to kill a lot of crew he'd known personally enough that he could name their sleeping habits to Rocket) and he's never opened himself up to receiving love. The potential to love is still there, but it's buried under layers and he's sure that it'll just get him hurt. The bitterness of being discarded by everyone he's ever cared about has worn away at him.

He has bursts of fondness, though. He'll see small and quaint things and find them beautiful, or think of someone he's let himself care for and they'll hit him. He's a team player who likes to work with people, even if he starts getting nervous of connections.

He tells Peter Quill to use his heart to generate his own abilities and says he guides his arrow with his heart. I usually take that to mean that he kind of loses himself in the action like a dancer or an artist would and it's probably one of the moments he's at his lightest, even if it's mid-combat or threat.
Other: He doesn't have magical inclinations as an alien creature. He does a health profile in medical detailing his injuries and how his fin is attached.


Character Name: Entrapta
Heart Info: Entrapta's intentions are mostly good. She views morality in a very gray region, so she's probably squarely in the middle of goodness? She sometimes does things merely for the curiosity of seeing what would happen, but she genuinely doesn't want to see her friends hurt. She's relatively stable (most of her odd behavior is her being on the spectrum rather than some sort of sociopathy), and while she's capable of doing very dangerous experiments without regret, she's also willing to run into danger despite not being able to fight for her friends.

Character Name: Willow Amarina
Heart Info: One of her elements is Holy (which is very easily interpreted as Light for the KH-verse for the sake of things) so any read on her heart would be the light. However she has her inner demons she has bitterly fought with, which could/would theoretically manifest as Darkness to some degree.
She has someone's soul (in this case, heart) bound to her own of her own doing to save her (the other person's) life, and he is absolutely welcome to have a read on this as well as point that out. It'll disturb her and make her anxious, but honestly have at it, make her face that part of herself.
Other: I'm not how sure this would translate to a heart, but Willow's soul has a shape that is in the form of a flaming bird. The other soul is a "colder" one more blobby shaped with a moon theme. I'm willing to answer any questions surrounding that.

(Even canon familiarity doesn't help me here rip. Also bitty Willow does not have a soul bound to her, being event relevant to mention)

He has been surrounded in darkness before, and while not as much now, he still is to some extent. However, like Riku (as a SURPRISINGLY great example... Wow ok I have a type), he is more in control of this darkness than his past. He will still use that darkness (aka resentful energies) to fight with but does his best to use the traditional means of cultivation (basically using the light) or his youkai powers.

Other: He's got a fox youkai also housed within him, so a second heart could likely be picked up within him. Youkai are pretty grey in terms of light vs dark so there's a mix of both in the kitsune's heart.

Heart Info: Probably nothing especially noteworthy here, generally human-ish and maybe a little further towards dark than light, but balanced overall. That said if you want to sense Something Weird given that technically Ghost only has "personhood" by being a partial neurological copy of someone else, go for it. I figure Vexen is the one who is most likely to sense such a detail since... [gestures] replicas, man.
Other: Go wild - anything on permissions is fair game. Notably, Ghost passes physically for a human unless he's Not, it's all psychic shit that's weird, which. translate that to KH however you feel appropriate, I have not strong preferences and it's not like he's hiding being a Weird Alien Hybrid.

Heart Info: SO. Ea-nasir is a Heroic Spirit from the Throne of Heroes, which means she is a legendary figure whose soul was pulled from the cycle of reincarnation. But here's where it gets interesting; due to the nature of her legend, and the nature of her rise to legend, her soul was mixed in with all of humanity's resentment towards swindlers and conmen. So realistically speaking, she's like 8000% darkness. Even moreso with the fact that she gains mana through negative emotion aimed at her - essentially turning dark feelings aimed at her into power. Plus her main method of attacking is through curses, which are literal grudges and malevolence given form. ....Yeah.
Other: She's actually an expert at hiding shit, but the ONLY thing she's actually concerned with hiding is the weakness of her Noble Phantasm. Anything else is fair game.

Character Name: Eva Iden'no
Heart Info: Eva's heart ultimately leans to the Light. She's a Good Person (and is slowly coming to accept that yes, she is one), but there is Darkness there due to past traumas and basically the set up of her world. She's no stranger to the grim realities of a monsterfilled world and as such, she does have different morals at times and can be 'lol' towards things.

She has a psychic-like bond with Senku that is a handy dandy Senku locator and when in the same Carriage or under Extreme Emotions, an empathic one as well.


Other: Um... maybe work this out on a thread by thread basis, but in general, Eva has a silent confidence about her that can't be pinpointed to just one things. Also she's very open and friendly and a social butterfly.

Heart Info: Basically normal human levels of light vs. dark, but tinging in a sort of "he's willing to do some questionable stuff" direction. Not amoral but his moral compass's true north is a bit off from most people's.
Other: Phineas spent years working with a very professional thief and identity thief named Chameleon so has done (and facilitated) Crimes. He's a pretty good actor, at least in more controlled situations. He's a brilliant inventor. He's a bit of an adrenaline junkie. Besides that, he's a pretty ordinary person.

A layer down, a previous bond of that sort is fucking with him a little; probably not detectable unless specifically looking for outside influences.
Other: Elemental magic systems ahoy! Asch is from an eight-element system, and naturally has all of them except ice. (Light/dark, fire/water, ice/wind, earth/lightning) He gets ice from Jade for a full set. Although he has equal power in all of them except ice, his inclinations are dark/fire/light, in that order, and then the rest, and he's primarily dark-presenting.

Heart Info: Maybe surprisingly, Dio's a rather balanced sort of heart, neither overwhelmed by darkness or suffused with light. Occasionally he literally detaches part of his heart and it roams around at his side in the form of a giant golden armored muscle man which he calls The World, but that's about as strange as it gets. Which can admittedly, be pretty strange.
Other: Dio is a stone dead vampire, and in spite of this Donatello Versus is his biological son. How does this work? We don't know, but it certainly is anomalous and might be 'interesting' in that 'what the hell' sort of way.

Will, and his magic, are of the Light. Humans in his universe have a balance between Light and Dark, because they have the ability to choose. Its implied that he doesn't have that choice. He is of the Light, and because of that he must serve it. At one point a character with Seeing abilities sees him as a column of Light.

Will can sense the presence of Light and Dark magic of his world, but the definitions of Light and Dark between KH and DIR may be too different for this.

Other:
Will is described as being of magic or being a creature of magic. I generally take this to mean that he doesn't just use magic, but that he is made of magic in some way.
